6 Must Have Products For 4c Hair

What is 4c Hair?

4c Hair! The kinkiest and curliest of them all. Not all products can be used in 4c hair, so it is important to keep informed on how to take care of your hair! This guide will give you some info on 4c hair and will show you the best products to use with this curl pattern.

What is 4c hair?

4c hair is a tightly coiled hair type and in its raw state, it doesn’t have a completely defined curl pattern. Curls are further defined by twisting or braiding the strands. 4c hair experiences a lot of shrinkage, so it may appear shorter in length without the hair being stretched. It is important to be gentle with 4c hair, as it is prone to breakage!

Before you shampoo, spread this product throughout your hair to help loosen any flakes and clear the hair and scalp of dandruff.

  2. It will reduce inflammation
  3. Soothe the scalp and level excess oil production.

  1. AS I AM Coconut CoWash Cleansing Conditioner

Most 4c hair is prone to dryness, flakiness, itchiness and lack of moisture. Even though the hair still needs to be cleansed, it is important to avoid stripping the hair of its natural oils. That is where a co-wash comes in to save your kinky day.

Why should you use it?

  1. Makes the detangling process easy and painless
  2. Gently cleanses hair and scalp without stripping natural oils
  3. Spreads evenly and thoroughly throughout the hair.

  1. Shea Moisture Jamaican Black Castor Oil Reparative Leave-In Conditioner

Similar to our shampoo and conditioner, this leave in is jam packed with Shea to help keep the moisture locked into your strands, while increasing manageability and support elasticity so hair resists breakage when detangling. Conditioners provide a protective layer that improves the appearance of split ends. Promotes healthy hair growth with the reparative omegas of Jamaican Black Castor Oil.
